Tutoring sessions are conducted online through Zoom, offering flexible and interactive learning opportunities from the comfort of your home. The same place your student might do homework is perfect for tutoring sessions: quiet, well-lit, and comfortable.

To prepare for the the class, please do three things. 1. Test your tech: Ensure the camera, microphone, and internet are working. 2. Prepare materials: Have textbooks, notebooks, or assignments ready. 3. Set up a space: Choose a quiet, well-lit area to minimize distractions.

During a trial session, the tutor will assess the student’s current knowledge and learning style to personalize the experience. Key concepts related to the subject will be reviewed, and academic goals for future sessions will be set. The session will include interactive activities to keep the student engaged and ensure the learning experience is both effective and tailored to their needs.

Benchmark Learning charges a flat rate per hour for tutoring sessions after the trial session, provided the parent is satisfied and wishes to continue. The fee is billed on an hourly basis, and payment is due prior to any planned sessions for the week.

Tutors provide regular feedback, progress reports, and assessments to track the student’s development and identify areas that need additional focus.

Sessions are typically 1 hour, though we offer flexibility to extend or shorten sessions based on student needs.

Tutors utilize a variety of resources, including online tools, presentations, interactive exercises, and subject-specific materials to enhance the learning experience.
